As a precautionary measure, Lasalle Secondary School was locked down today at about 11:15 a.m. when a student in a state of crisis left a meeting with a counsellor, according to Greater Sudbury Police Service.

The lock-down was only a precautionary measure, police pointed out. The student was found by officers in the school parking lot and has been taken to speak with crisis workers at Health Sciences North.

No one was injured during the incident. The lock-down at the school has been lifted.
