A young man, who has a long criminal history, has been arrested for breaching a number of probation orders after trespassing at the New Sudbury Shopping Centre, according to Greater Sudbury Police Service.

Police were called to the shopping centre on June 19 at about 3:30 p.m. The individual had previously been banned from the area. He was reported to be causing a disturbance by swearing at security guards. They placed him under arrest, and he continued his verbal barrage, according to police.

When police arrived, it was learned the man was on three separate probation orders with the condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Based on that information, he was arrested and faces two counts of breach of adult probation contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada and one count of breach of a youth probation order contrary to sect 137 of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
