Massey man killed in crane incident

Wesley Gatchell, 49, of Massey was killed June 21 following what police are calling an accident involving a crane, according to Ontario Porvincial Police.

The OPP is assisting the Ministry of Labour in the investigation. The death happened shortly before 3 p.m. in Gordon Township. The man was working with a crane at a business on Highway 540 when the crane tipped over and struck him.

A post mortem was scheduled for this morning at Health Sciences North.
