Police seized more than $3,500 worth of Oxycontin, as well as other drugs during a June 27 search warrant at a Melvin Street home, according to Greater Sudbury Police Service.

Officers found about 90 grams of marijuana and 14 grams of crack cocaine, as well as pepper spray and $850 in cash.

Two people, a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, were arrested at the scene.

Both were charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a prohibited weapon and weapons dangerous.
