Greater Sudbury Police Service's traffic management unit will be regulating the traffic flow on area roadways around the Bell Park and Science North, Centennial Drive, York Street area, ensuring the orderly flow of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Vehicles that are parked in prohibited areas, grassed areas, sidewalks or obstructing driveways and/or intersections will be ticketed and/or towed, police warn.

Access to Health Sciences North by emergency vehicles will be maintained and any vehicles parked obstructing access to the hospital will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service's marine unit, with help from the OPP, will also be on Lake Ramsey checking for impaired boaters and ensuring that boaters do not operate their vessels within the drop zone of the fireworks that will occur later that evening.
