A 27-year-old man is in police custody after he pulled up next to another driver on Lasalle Boulevard, brandishing “what appeared to be a hand gun, then pointed it at the victim while also uttering a threat.”

A media release from Greater Sudbury Police said the suspect fled the scene, but was apprehended afterwards by police. The firearm was recovered, and police determined it was a pellet gun that closely resembled a restricted hand gun.

The man is facing criminal charges. He is currently in police custody.
