A 34-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, assault with a weapon and aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing two other men Aug. 18.

Police responded to an incident around Elgin and Mackenzie streets at about 2:25 a.m., where a man was stabbed in his upper body and received serious injuries, and another man was stabbed in his hand. Both men were taken to Health Sciences North, Greater Sudbury Police Service said in a press release.

The suspect will be in bail court today.
