Clerk unhurt after armed robbery at gas station Sept. 8

A man entered the Pioneer Gas Bar on Falconbridge Road around 11 p.m. Sept. 8, brandishing a knife and demanding money from the clerk.

 

Greater Sudbury Police say he then made off with an undetermined amount of money. The clerk then immediately called police.

 

Officers arrived on the scene, but were unable to find the suspect. Police believe he fled the scene in a waiting vehicle.
 

 

The suspect is described as having a muscular build, wearing a grey sweatshirt, grey and white jacket and jeans. The vehicle may have been a brown in colour. Police are checking video and forensic evidence from the scene.
