Police arrest convenience store robbery suspects

Two men have been arrested after an attempted robbery at the Churchill Convenience Store at around 10:30 p.m. Sept. 14.

A 25-year-old man entered the store, which is located on Churchill Street in Sudbury, pulled out a knife, and demanded money.

An alarm was activated. The suspect ran from the store without taking any money.

A witness observed the suspect getting into a waiting vehicle driven by a 27-year-old man.

The vehicle was stopped by police a short time later, and the two men were arrested for robbery. The knife was found in the vehicle.

Both suspects have been held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
