Two charged with weapons, drug offences

Two people face a number of weapons- and drug-related offences after police executed a search warrant at a Glen Street home on Sept. 20.

Police seized seven Oxycontin pills with a street value of $700. They also seized 13 grams of marijuana with a street value of $130 and $713 in Canadian currency.

During the search, officers found a loaded rifle.

A 25-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman have been arrested. The man was also charged with breach of probation.
