Charges pending in Hwy. 144 crash

Three people injured in collision

Three people were sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following an early morning crash on Highway 144, said the Ontario Provincial Police.

The two-vehicle collision happened at the Levack turnoff (Regional Road 8). A pickup truck pulled out from Regional Road 8 and was hit by a northbound vehicle travelling on Highway 144.

The collision restricted traffic to one lane for about two hours. Members of the OPP continue the investigation, and charges are pending.
