On March 19, 2012, the Espanola Fire Service and the OPP responded to a structure fire on Tudhope Street near the intersection of Centre Street in Espanola.
Several businesses were destroyed in the fire and a male victim was taken to hospital with burns to his body. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has determined that the fire is suspicious in nature.
Arrests have been made in relation to the investigation, but police are continuing to investigate and seek the public’s help with any information in relation to their investigation.
