The Greater Sudbury Police have identified the body located on O’Neil Drive West in Garson yesterday as Stefanie Cummings. 

The 24-year-old had been reported missing earlier this month in Sudbury.

Officers are still on scene searching the area where the body was located.

At this time, police are still in the early stages of the investigation. Police are asking for the public’s assistance for any information they may have on the whereabouts of Cummings prior to Oct.13. Contact 705-675-9171 with any details.

On Oct. 13, just before 11 a.m., a couple walking on O'Neil Drive West in Garson located the body. Police are treating the investigation as a suspicious death.
