Original story

Police are currently on scene of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle at the intersection of Notre Dame/Paris and Elm streets, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

Access to Elm Street from Lloyd Street is blocked.

Traffic northbound on Paris is being rerouted away from the intersection.

An updated news release is expected shortly, said media relations officer Const. Meghan O'Malley.

Police are also investigating a second collision on Municipal Road 80 at Valley View Road. Motorists should expect slowdowns at that intersection.

Motorists are encouraged to consider alternate routes.
