Public help nabs two alleged impaired drivers

A 23-year-old man from Sagamok was charged with impaired driving after being stopped on Lee Valley Road at midnight after residents phoned in an erratic driving complaint.

Later that day, the OPP received another erratic driving complaint regarding a vehicle in Highway 17 near Espanola. The vehicle was located at 3 p.m. in McKerrow.

The 32-year-old Valley East man was charged with impaired driving after failing a roadside breath test.

The OPP encourages anyone who encounters a suspected impaired driver to call 911.
