No one was caught drinking and driving Dec. 10 on Day 7 of the Festive RIDE campaign, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

Police checked 114 drivers and issued three Highway Traffic Act offences. There were no demands for roadside breath tests, and no licences were suspended.

Officers set up their spot checks on Regional Road 55 at Penage Lake Road, Regional Road 24 at the Highway 17 overpass and at Highway 144 and Highway 17 at Long Lake Road.

Police will continue the Festive RIDE campaign by setting up spot checks every day throughout the month of December at undisclosed locations.
