Two Rayside Balfour men have been charged with possession of controlled substance after the Espanola Ontario Provincial Police seized a quantity of ecstasy Dec. 27, according to a news release.

The OPP said officers responded to a request to check on the well-being of a snowmobile driver at a business in Nairn Centre at 2 a.m. Officers attended the area and spoke to two men who had been out on their snowmobiles.

Further investigation led to the seizure of the ecstasy.

The two suspects will appear in Espanola Court on Feb. 9, 2013.
