Police arrest 3 with drug charges

A 33-year-old woman and 37-year-old man were arrested in a Frontenac Street address Jan. 19, after police executed a search warrant and found four grams of cocaine, two grams of marijuana, $2,035 in cash, as well as scales and packaging materials. Police estimated the value of the drugs at $500. 

 

Both the woman and man were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and possession of property obtained by crime.

 

The man, who resides in Ajax, will be in bail court Jan. 20. The woman is slated for a Feb. 20 court appearance.

 

A third man, aged 51, was also arrested after leaving the residence. He had a small quantity of cocaine on him. He is slated to appear in court Feb. 20 as well.
