A 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly being impaired by more than twice the legal limit, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

A 2006 Ford pickup truck ended up in the ditch on Falconbridge Highway on Jan. 23 at about 6 p.m. Witnesses told police they suspected the driver was impaired.

Once officers talked to the driver, they made a demand for a breath sample, which the driver failed.

He was taken to police headquarters for further breath tests.

His driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days.

Greater Sudbury Police now release the names of impaired drivers. These press releases can be found by going to www.gsps.ca.
