Two teenagers have been arrested for allegedly breaking into vehicles and stealing items in the area of Lina Street and Leduc Street in Val Caron.

A resident in the area saw two suspects on Jan. 31 at about 3 a.m. going into driveways and checking to see if car doors were locked. Police were called, and officers found the teenagers, two 17-year-old boys, who were searched and found with several stolen items including cellphones, cigarettes, change and a multi-tool.

Police remind the public to make sure that their vehicles are locked and to not leave valuable items inside their vehicles.
