Radar Road crash leads to careless driving charge

A 38-year-old man suffered non life-threatening injuries after his vehicle was struck on Radar Road between Guenette and Dupuis Drive Feb. 1.

The driver had been attempting to make a left turn onto a private drive at the time. His vehicle was struck by a SUV heading in the same direction, which had pulled out to pass.

The SUV driver, who was uninjured in the collision, has been charged with careless driving.

Both vehicles received extensive damage in the collision. Radar Road was closed for a time Feb. 1 while the drivers were extricated from the vehicles by emergency personnel.
