Super Bowl fans choose not to drink and drive: Police

Greater Sudbury Police Service said it seems many Super Bowl fans chose not to drink and drive following the big game.

Police set up a number of spot checks just after midnight until 2 a.m. in two locations. Numerous vehicles were stopped, and no drivers were found to have been drinking.

Many people walked, travelled by cab or had a designated driver when returning home for their respective Super Bowl festivities, said police.
