A 35-year-old woman has been charged with impaired driving after a traffic complaint about her erratic driving was called in on March 2, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

At about 2:45 a.m., police received a complaint regarding a vehicle that was being driven all over the road causing a serious safety concern. Officers conducting a separate investigation in the area of Bancroft Drive attended and stopped the 2006 Toyota Corolla.

The investigation revealed that the woman had been drinking.

She failed a roadside screening test and was taken to police headquarters where breath tests showed she had over twice the legal limit of alcohol in her blood.

Her driver's licence was suspended, and she was released on a promise to appear to answer to her charges.

Greater Sudbury Police now release the names of impaired drivers. These press releases can be found by going to www.gsps.ca.
