A 24-year-old man was charged Oct. 9 when Greater Sudbury Police located a 2005 black Ford pickup blocking traffic at the intersection of Van Horne and Paris Street.
The driver failed a roadside breath test, was arrested and taken to police headquarters. Further tests revealed he was three times over the legal limit.
On Oct. 10, a 46-year-old man was charged with impaired after police stopped his vehicle in the Ramsey Lake Road area. He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for more tests, which revealed he was three times over the legal limit.
Shortly after midnight on Oct. 13, during a RIDE check in the area of Paris Street, a 2013 grey Hyundai SFT was stopped. The 26-year-ol driver was found to have been drinking. He was arrested and escorted to police headquarters. He failed to provide a breath sample. He was charged with failing/refusing to provide a breath sample.
