She was north-bound when she drove into the back of the north-bound tractor trailer.
She failed a roadside breath test, and was arrested. She was taken to police headquarters, where further tests revealed she was more than twice the legal limit.
Her vehicle sustained heavy damage as a result of the collision, but no one was injured.
She is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 13.
