Highway 69 between Sudbury and Highway 124 in Parry Sound is now fully reopened, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.

Original story:

Highway 69 was still closed between Sudbury and Highway 124 in Parry Sound as of just before 8 a.m. Jan. 25 after blowing snow made roads treacherous yesterday.

However, Highway 69 was reopened to local traffic only from Sudbury to Highway 64 at around 4:30 a.m. Jan. 25.

Highway 69 wasn't the only road that closed during the winter storm.

Highway 17 between Nairn Centre and Regional Road 55 was closed for a time, but reopened at around 5 p.m. Jan. 24. Municipal Road 80 was also closed during the afternoon of Jan. 24 because of a multi-vehicle collision, but had reopened by 9 p.m.
