Speeding nets drug charges for Sudbury man

A traffic stop by West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police in Carling Township on March 20 led to drug charges against a 28-year-old Sudbury man. While conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 400, the accused was seen at about 1:20 p.m.

A traffic stop by West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police in Carling Township on March 20 led to drug charges against a 28-year-old Sudbury man.

While conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 400, the accused was seen at about 1:20 p.m. travelling at a high rate of speed.

The driver used a fake name when talking to officers.

He is charged with failing to comply with probation orders, obstructing a peace officer, possession of marijuana, speeding and driving with a suspended licence.
