Man arrested for indecent acts towards girls

A 53-year-old man was arrested March 26 for alleged acts of indecent exposure where he followed girls between the ages of 12 and 21, exposed himself and masturbated in front of them.

In total, 10 girls were victimized in six different incidents, which happened between January and March, 2014 in the Donovan and Flour Mills areas, said Greater Sudbury Police Service. One incident also happened on Fielding Street in New Sudbury.

The man is charged with 13 counts of exposure to a person under 16 years of age, 19 counts of criminal harassment (repeatedly following victims from place to place) and indecent acts.

He was scheduled to appear in bail court on March 27.
