Three arrested as police seize 1,300 grams of pot

Police seized more than 1,300 grams of pot worth an estimated $13,000 on April 7 after executing a search warrant at an apartment on Lasalle Boulevard, said Greater Sudbury Police Service. Officers also seized more than $8,000 in cash.

Police seized more than 1,300 grams of pot worth an estimated $13,000 on April 7 after executing a search warrant at an apartment on Lasalle Boulevard, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

Officers also seized more than $8,000 in cash.

Three people have been charged in the drug bust.

A 25-year-old man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

A 23-year-old man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.

Another 23-year-old man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with recognizance of bail. He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for two counts of failing to attend his court date.

All three remain in custody and await their individual bail hearings.
