Man wanted by Canadian Border Services arrested in Sudbury

A 37-year-old man wanted by the Canadian Border Services Agency was arrested in Sudbury on April 16 on an outstanding immigration warrant, said Greater Sudbury Police Service. Officers with the drug enforcement unit observed the suspect at 8 p.m.

A 37-year-old man wanted by the Canadian Border Services Agency was arrested in Sudbury on April 16 on an outstanding immigration warrant, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

Officers with the drug enforcement unit observed the suspect at 8 p.m. He was arrested without incident. He is being detained until the CBSA can take custody of him for removal under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
