Like a scene right out of a Hollywood film, at around 11 p. m. April 30, a vehicle with two occupants was shot at several times from another moving vehicle while driving on Barrydowne Road, between Hawthorne and Gemmell.
The victims were not struck though the driver received minor injuries as a result of shattered glass. Again, the description given of the suspect vehicle is a light-coloured SUV or van, similar to the vehicle allegedly involved in the Azilda shooting.
In a news release, Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers said it's “convinced someone has information on the identity of the suspect(s) and therefore a guaranteed $2,000 reward is being offered for tips received before midnight on Friday May 9th, if the information leads to an arrest.”
The standard process for determining reward amounts will apply for tips received after the deadline.
