All students have been reported safe and sound after several canoes apparently capsized Tuesday afternoon on Kukagami Lake, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

At first, information led police to believe that several people were missing; however, everyone has been located in good health.

GSPS, the Ontario Provincial Police, Greater Sudbury Fire Services and Greater Sudbury Emergency Services responded to the call.

On social media, people are saying the students were on a class trip near the Sportsman's Lodge.
