Pre-trial date set for July 16
The former Estaire-Wanup fire chief is scheduled to begin his pre-trial on Wednesday, July 16 for charges of indecency and indecent assault.
Gordon Hall, 69, of Estaire, was charged for the offences which were alleged to have occurred in August 1973 at Camp Petraqua, in Estaire. The alleged victim attended the camp at that time.
In 2013, Hall was charged with six counts of gross indecency and seven counts of indecent assault on a male from incidents alleged to have taken place between 1974 and 1978 at the Bancroft Boys Home.
Hall worked at the boys home during that period.
The group home and detention facility housed youths between the ages of 13 and 18. It was closed in 1980.
