Public asked to help locate teen missing since September

Family wants to know if Meagan Pilon, 16, is OK

 Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers and the Greater Sudbury Police Service are asking the public's help to locate Meagan Pilon, 16, who has been missing since Sept. 18.

Anyone with information about Pilon can contact Crime Stoppers anonymously. If tipsters provide information that help police locate the missing teen, they could be eligible for a cash reward.


She is 5-foot-10, weighs 140 pounds, has black hair and hazel eyes. Since last fall, there have been several sightings in downtown Sudbury. Other reports say Pilon may be in Espanola or the West Nippising area.

“Her family is concerned for her well-being and just wants to know that she is OK,” police said in the release. “Please help her family locate her.”

Pilon was the subject of an episode of Last Seen Alive, the Discovery Channel series on the search for missing youths in Canada. She is also the subject of a Facebook page, Help us find Meagan Pilon.
