Members of the BEAR (Break, Enter and Robbery) Unit are investigating three unsolved robberies and, with the assistance of pictures from surveillance cameras, are asking for the public's assistance in providing names of suspects based on their clothing and general descriptions.
Information was obtained by way of interviews with witnesses/victims or visuals from pictures obtained.
The photo on the right is from Aug. 19 at about 9 p. m. At Mac's in the Montrose Mall. There was no weapon observed. The suspect is described as male, Caucasian, about 25 years old, 5-10 to 6-0, slim build, wearing red ECHO hoodie with white letters, grey sweat pants, red and white high-top sneakers and a grey bandana. He took cash and cigarettes.
The photo on the left is from Aug. 8 at about 12:30 a.m. at the Pioneer Gas Bar in Val Caron. The suspect had a hammer. He is described as Caucasian, about 25 years old, About 6-0, medium build, wearing a brown leather coat with hood, light blue jeans, brown work boots (black toe protectors), with dark-coloured balaclava/bandana covering the lower part of the face. Nothing was taken in this incident.
The photo in the middle is from April 27 at about 12:05 a.m. at Tim Hortons on Falconbridge near Lasalle Boulevard. The suspect had a knife. He is described as Caucasian, about 30 years old, about 6-0, heavy build, wearing a black leather jacket, blue bandana, black pants and black dress shoes. Cash was taken in this incident.
Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers is convinced someone has information on the identity of the suspects; therefore, a guaranteed $1,000 reward is being offered for tips received before midnight on Friday Sept. 5, if the information leads to an arrest.
