No emergency: It's just routine training in Levack: Police

Levack residents who might have noticed an increased police presence in their community today need not worry — it was only a search and rescue training exercise, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

NorthernLife.ca checked in with police after a community member expressed concern about police in the area at about 12:30 p.m.

Media relations officer Const. Bert Lapalme said the exercises are part of regular training, and that he expects it to wrap up today.
