One person is dead and another four injured after a three-vehicle collision on Highway 69 in the French River area Oct. 3.
According to a press release from the OPP, the collision, which occurred 500 metres south of the Pickerel River Bridge, occurred at around 1:02 p.m.
A southbound Dodge Caravan collided head-on with a northbound Toyota Corolla. The van then hit a northbound Jeep Wrangler. The four injured people were transported to hospital. The Carolla's driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision closed the highway for about six hours as OPP investigated.
