New Sudbury gas bar robbed early Tuesday morning

A gas bar on Lasalle Boulevard was robbed Tuesday at 3:50 a.m. A release from Greater Sudbury Police says a lone male entered the Esso Gas bar brandishing a weapon. He demanded money from the clerk.

A release from Greater Sudbury Police says a lone male entered the Esso Gas bar brandishing a weapon. He demanded money from the clerk.

β€œAn undisclosed amount of money was provided to the perpetrator who then fled on foot,” a release from the police said. β€œA canine track was conducted in the area and was met with negative results.”

The suspect is described as around six feet tall, dressed in a dark hoody with a slim build.
