Man robs Byrnes Gulf Service in Azilda

A lone male robbed Byrnes Gulf Service in Azilda Dec. 11, said Greater Sudbury Police Service. The suspect entered the gas station shortly before 7:50 p.m., said police. He was wearing a mask and had a knife.

A lone male robbed Byrnes Gulf Service in Azilda Dec. 11, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

The suspect entered the gas station shortly before 7:50 p.m., said police. He was wearing a mask and had a knife.

He fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as 5-foot-10 with an average build. He is between 30 and 40 years of age. He has a dark complexion and was wearing a brown leather jacket, black pants and a black balaclava.

The investigation is still ongoing.
