Reward offered for stolen loader

Crime Stoppers and the Greater Sudbury Police Service are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the theft of a loader.

Between 6 p.m. on Friday Dec. 12 and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 13, a 2011 Kabota skid steer loader was taken from a jobsite on Norman Street in Sudbury.

The machine, which is orange in colour, weighs about five tons. The value of the loader is approx. $45,000, with a replacement cost of $70,000.

Information on the identity of the suspects and/or the location of the stolen loader would be greatly appreciated.

Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers is convinced someone has information on the identity of the suspect(s); therefore, a guaranteed minimum $1,000 reward is being offered for tips received before midnight on Friday Dec. 26 if the information leads to an arrest or recovery of the stolen property (reward money will be divided if many successful tips are received).

For tips received after the deadline, the standard process for determining reward amounts will apply.
