Suspicious person on Westview Drive

On Sunday, Jan 18 at approximately 3:30 a.m. a suspicious young man was seen going through yards and vehicles on Westview Drive. Area residents alerted police.

On Sunday, Jan 18 at approximately 3:30 a.m. a suspicious young man was seen going through yards and vehicles on Westview Drive.

Area residents alerted police. A resident in the area spotted the man who then cut through a residential backyard into the graveyard and was lost from sight.

No property was damaged or stolen and the suspect was identified solely as a young male wearing a dark jacket.

Police want to remind residents to lock their vehicles at all times to prevent theft.

It is a Criminal Offence for anyone to “prowl” at night in a clandestine manner on another person’s property. If caught, police will arrest for “Trespass At Night”.
