Sudbury man faces drug charges in Parry Sound

A 48-year-old Sudbury man faces drug charges by the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police.

Officers responded on Feb. 4 to a report of a suspicious grey car. Tire tracks led officers to Highway 400. At about 1:28 a.m., officers stopped the suspect vehicle, and seized cannabis marijuana, crystal methemphetamine and cocaine.

The Sudbury man is charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of a Schedule II Substance, and obstructing a peace officer.

The accused was held in custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound.
