Robbery at Copper Cliff convenience store

The B.E.A.R. (Break, Enter and Robbery) Unit of the Greater Sudbury Police Service has identified a 43-year-old Copper Cliff man responsible for the robbery on Feb 6.

The B.E.A.R. (Break, Enter and Robbery) Unit of the Greater Sudbury Police Service has identified a 43-year-old Copper Cliff man responsible for the robbery on Feb 6.

The man was arrested by members of the BEAR Unit, Tactical Team and Uniform officers on Feb. 7 following a search warrant issued on a Copper Cliff residence.

The accused will be held in custody pending a bail hearing.

**Original Story**

Shortly after 10:30 p.m. Feb. 6, a man entered a convenience store in Copper Cliff, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect fled on foot.

He is described as 5’10”, 165 pounds, slender with all dark clothing. He was wearing a hood over a mask.

This incident is under investigation by the Break, Enter and Robbery (B.E.A.R.) Unit.
