Police on the hunt for federal offender

The OPP reports Darryl Babinski was located and arrested without incident by the ROPE Squad officers on April 22 in Toronto.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for allegedly breaching his parole.


Darryl Babinski is described as an Aboriginal male, 38 years of age, 5-10 (178 centimetres), 162 pounds (73 kilograms). He has numerous tattoos, including fish and a skull on both sides of his neck, a celtic knot on his left hand and a rose on his right hand.

He is serving a five-year sentence for armed robbery, threaten death and mischief.

The offender is known to frequent the North Bay area and the Greater Toronto area.
