Although reporters on scene report people are now going in and out of the front of the apartment building at 241 Lloyd St., Greater Sudbury Police say the situation has still not resolved itself.

A young man is still barricaded inside one of the apartments. Police are speaking to him from the ladder of a fire truck parked in front of the building, trying to calm him down and talk him out of the building.

Mallika Viegas, a NorthernLife.ca reporter on scene, said at one point the young man waved and spoke with some people he knew, who were on the sidewalk in front of the building.
