Rayside corner store robbery suspects arrested

Update May 1 at 7:30 a.m. Two men were arrested in connection with the incident, and have been charged with robbery. They're due to attend bail court May 1.

Two men were arrested in connection with the incident, and have been charged with robbery. They're due to attend bail court May 1.

Original story:

Two men carrying sticks robbed the Mac's convenience store in Rayside Balfour at around 3:34 a.m. April 30.

According to Greater Sudbury Police, the men entered the store and demanded money, and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

One suspect is described as 5-8, and wearing a black jacket and baseball cap, with his face disguised. The second suspect is described as 6-0, and also wearing a black jacket and baseball cap, with his face disguised.

The incident is still under investigation.
