Greater Sudbury Police Service is asking for the public's help as it continues to help the coroner in the investigation of the body found in Junction Creek on May 2.

“Investigators are asking for the public's assistance in attempting to identify the male victim,” police said in a release Friday.

The deceased man is believed to be between 30 and 50 years old, 5-foot-5 in height, about 160 pounds, thick, shoulder-length black hair and was missing some upper teeth.

This investigation is still being conducted under the jurisdiction of the coroner. Police are asking anyone who may know the identity of the victim to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 705-675-9171, ext. 2300, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
