Five impaired-driving charges handed out

Officers issued five Criminal Code offences May 16 to impaired drivers during a RIDE check, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.

Police set up on Kalmo Road, Municipal Road 84, Valley View Road and Kathleen Street.

One driver had their licence suspended, and one demand was made for breath tests.

Another 11 tickets were handed out for Highway Traffic Act offences.

A total of 213 drivers were checked.
