Police make 11 impaired driving charges in May

Greater Sudbury Police charged 11 drivers with impaired driving during the month of May.

Nine of the drivers were charged for driving impaired with alcohol levels over the legal limit, and two were charged for driving impaired under the influence of drugs.

One 50-year-old driver was also charged for driving while under suspension.

Another driver, a 26 year-old man, was charged with stunt driving on May 27, for exceeding the speed limit by more than 50 km/h. The man conducted a roadside breath test which confirmed he was over the legal alcohol limit of 80 mgs.
