Pickaxe-wielding man robs Lorne St. Subway

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating after the Subway on Lorne Street was robbed Monday night. At around 10:45 p.m., a man entered the sandwich shop carrying what was described as a pickaxe. He demanded money and fled the scene.

At around 10:45 p.m., a man entered the sandwich shop carrying what was described as a pickaxe. He demanded money and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as average height and build with a greyish beard. He was wearing all black clothing.
